Description
HD Pictures and Video
If high-definition pictures and video are a top want for you in a cell camera, you’re looking at the right brand. WiseEye is well known for its picture quality, some so good you would think they’re AI-generated. The DC-2 is their top-of-the-line camera and delivers the highest quality pictures and videos I’ve seen from a cellular trail camera, you’ll be impressed.
LCD Screen for Easy Setup
A front-facing LCD screen makes setting up a trail camera so much easier. You don’t have to guess or use trial-and-error methods to get it aimed exactly where you want; you can see all of that on the LCD screen in real time. On top of that, simple setting changes are easier on the LCD screen, and checking cell reception strength is right there in the top-right corner.
No SD Card Needed
You read that right, the WiseEye DC-2 doesn’t require an SD Card (that’ll save you a few $)! It has 32 GB of internal storage built into the camera, but don’t worry, you can still put an SD card in the camera for additional storage if you’d like. Since this is primarily a cellular trail camera, and all the images will be sent to your phone, having an SD card to swap out isn’t a big deal like it is on regular trail cameras.
Excellent Cell Reception
If cellular reception has been an issue for you with other trail camera brands, then you might be pleasantly surprised with the WiseEye DC-2. I tested multiple DC-2’s in poor cell reception spots, we’re talking “No Service” on my phone spots. I was very surprised that they picked up service, and even more surprised how quickly the images were sent out. With 2 high-power cell antennas and multicarrier connectivity, they really do an excellent job picking up service. As with all cellular phones or trail cameras, poor cell reception does consume more power. In these poor reception scenarios, I highly recommend using a WiseEye solar panel to keep your camera charged up.
Live Stream
Have you ever been curious if there are deer on the far side of that food plot? Well, the new Live Stream feature on the DC-2 can help you find out! Just because there isn’t a deer in front of the camera, doesn’t mean there isn’t any on the field or food plot. Many can be outside the detection area of the camera. This is also a great feature for security purposes. Just note that Live Stream does require a good cell reception location for smooth transmission of the video.
Sharp, Long Range Illumination
Did you know that there are 2 different versions of the WiseEye DC-2? This one is the IR version, meaning it uses 850nm low-glow bulbs. These bulbs emit a faint red glow when they take a picture or video at night and are the most common flash type in the trail camera industry. The advantage of regular IR illumination is they take the clearest, sharpest images and video, as well as give you the most illumination distance of all the flash types. This is the best option if clarity is at the top of your wants. However, for night-time security purposes or very weary game animals, where you need things to be as covert as possible, you may want to consider the other version called the DC-2 No Glow.
Features:
- IR Low Glow: Provides the best illumination distance and sharpest night images
