The Shikar from Out on a Limb MFG is made right here in the USA out of machined aluminum. The stick posts are solid bar stock (not tubing like other sticks) making them more compact, lightweight, strong, and quiet (no hollow tubing noise)!

What is different from our normal Shikar sticks? Well the standoffs and steps are FIXED SOLID so there’s no movement whatsoever. They are also designed to stack on top of one another vertically like many populat sticks on the market.

What does the SS stand for on our fixed sticks? It stands for “Side Stacking”, if you look at the standoffs you can see that we have them notched out allowing the stick post to nest between the step and standoff making a very flat and compact fit (can side stack 3 sticks)!

The FXD SS sticks are made to use with Stealth Strips, to do this we have the side stacking and vertical stacking locations opened up to account for the Stealth Strips. This combo makes them deadly quiet. Stealth Strip packages comming soon!

We like to pack our sticks like this with a Ridge Runner platform gear tied to our sticks and the standoffs facing away from us strapped to the back of our pack. This makes a very compact setup for the walk in and out.
