The PW-3683 battery pack serves as a replacement battery for the Cuddeback PW-3600 and PW-003 solar panels.
It’s also used as an extra battery pack to fill the second battery compartment on a PW-3600 Solar Panel.

- How do I replace the battery pack in my Cuddeback solar panel?
To access and replace the batteries on a PW-3600 or PW-003 solar panel the process is the same. Simply remove the phillips screws from the plate on the back side of the solar panel, remove this plate and you will see the battery packs. Unplug the old battery and plug in the new replacement battery, then reinstall the back plate and phillips screws.
- Can I recharge the PW-3686 battery pack outside of the solar panel?
Yes and no. In the past you could us the PW-3662 battery charger to charge individual PW-3686 batteries, however the PW-3662 charger has now been discontinued.
If you would like to use a charger (instead of just setting the solar panel in the sun) you can install the battery inside the solar panel and then use the PW-3655 charger to charge the battery(s) inside the solar panel by plugging it into the power port.
