Every armored 12v power cord we’ve ever tried had one major flaw. The wire running to the battery connections wasn’t armored. Once they split the wire to attach the clips the armored sheathing stopped leaving the thin wires exposed!

This armored cord is different. It has the chew proof stainless steel sheathing all the way to the battery connections!

Since these 12v cord come with a 4.0 x 1.7mm DC plug, they’re compatible with all trail cameras that use this plug type and 12v power.

Nothing is more frustrating than having a trail camera drop off your app without warning. You’re left wondering what the problem is and have to make a special trip to the woods to find out. Many times the culprit is a chewed power cord. It’s happened to me many times and is why I use armored cords whenever possible.

It’s the easiest way protect your sanity from those pesky squirrels, mice, chipmunks, and other chewing animals.

Built for Outdoor Use

Other power cords leave wires exposed, these cords don’t. With armor from end to end animals can’t chew them.

Every spot where wires split or are connected to battery terminals is sealed with rubber heat-shrink wrap to provide added durability in harsh weather conditions. If you want, you can just use a cord and a battery, no box required (although I still recommend it).

Multiple Connector Options

Choose between Spade Connectors or Alligator Clips to match your battery setup.

The Spade ends are my favorite for many sealed lead acid or Lifepo4 lithium batteries with the little tabs on top. The spade ends lock very securely to the tabs so you don’t need to worry about them coming off (you may need to tap them off with a screwdriver)!

The Alligator clips are extremely versatile. You can put them just about any battery terminal including car batteries, lawnmower batteries or the common tab type sealed lead acid or Lifepo4 lithium batteries.

Versatile Power Solution

Pick the right connections and these cords will work with just about every 12v battery.

You can leave the battery unprotected on the ground or build a battery box to keep your battery insulated and out of the elements. With the proper hardware you can feed the cord ends into your battery box and completely seal out water. (like we do on our 12v battery setups)
