We work so hard for that moment...
We scout...
We plan...
We spend hours on stand in the elements...
All for that one moment...
Those seconds of adrenaline rush...
Those minutes where all our senses are honed in to the max...
Yet...on the tip of the arrow that we intend to launch into our quarry...
The killing instrument that delivers that fatal blow...
We gamble?
We decide to put a mechanical device that may or may not work as intended into the most critical role in the whole process?
We gamble that it will work? A wait and see game? Cross our fingers?
No.
Eliminate the variables.
Have some respect for the animal...
Have some respect for all the hard work, time, and money you have spent to get to that moment...
I don't have a recommendation on what broadhead brand is the best, there's a lot of choices out there but what I can say is this...
Shoot a quality, sharp, fixed broadhead...
And practice with it...
If the shot doesn't hit its mark and do the job cleanly and swiftly...
I want that to be on me.
