Most online stores only care about getting the sale, not if the product is the right one for you or even if it works properly. At U Outdoors we give you all the information to pick the right product the first time, offer a generous return policy if you aren't satisfied, and support the product 10x better than the company that made it.
How it Started
U Outdoors is a small family business that started out of a machine shop on a rural Wisconsin dairy farm in 2018 as a side business. We started out selling hunting blinds but quickly added other products like trail cameras and food plot seed that we used in our own whitetail hunting addiction.
We decided to leave the family farm behind in 2020 and moved the business from Wisconsin to Iowa so we could go all in on pursuing our dreams of hunting whitetails and serving hunters full time!
Through our years of experience in the dairy farming business, and of course buying things from stores as a consumer like everyone else, we would often get frustrated with the lack of product knowledge, instructions, and support...
We would get in the truck and drive to the local big box hunting store hoping to get a little more info and see the product in person before deciding which one we want to go with.
Finding someone in the store was usually the first issue, and if we did find someone, 9 times out of 10 they knew less about the product than we did!
Online shopping wasn't much different, we didn't have to drive anywhere but trying to find someone knowledgeable to talk to was like finding a needle in a haystack... even finding a phone number to call was difficult on many websites...
Solving The Problem
The problem wasn't the lack of hunting gear or places that sell it, there are plenty of both today.
The problem was that nobody seemed to care.
So instead of becoming like all the other big box stores and online retailers by adding thousands of new products (and knowing little about any of them), we decided to solve the issues that nobody else does with the products we do have.
Education Before and After Buying
Everyone has questions before buying something. We try to answer all those questions in real world hunting scenarios, specs are nice but you really want to know if this product can do what you need it to. Some products are more complex, for those we create video courses showing you exactly how to get the best results (no more terrible manuals).

We ship everything out ASAP via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail/Ground Advantage. Each box is packed tight so your product isn't bouncing around in there getting damaged on the way to your door. If there's an issue with the order we call you that very day to let you make a decision on what to do (no more checking in to see what's going on).
